Our Story
Welcome to Sand Art Print, a father-son artistic venture that brings together the passion and creativity of two generations. Short for Son and Dad Art and Print, Sand Art Print is a journey of shared inspiration, where Sumesh and his 14-year-old son, Dhairya, capture the beauty of fleeting moments through their expressive brushstrokes and vibrant color palettes.
The artistic journey began with Sumesh, an engineer by profession, who found art to be a passion that transcends his daily work. His love for painting deepened over time, and he passed this passion onto his son, Dhairya. At just 14, Dhairya has already begun to carve his own path as a young artist, with remarkable creativity that adds a fresh perspective to their shared craft.
Drawing inspiration from the Impressionist movement, Sumesh and Dhairya create art that captures landscapes, cityscapes, temples, heritage structures, and treasured childhood memories. Their work is a blend of light, movement, and emotion, resulting in paintings that resonate with a timeless beauty while reflecting personal and meaningful experiences.
Primarily working in watercolors, oils, and acrylics, the duo paints with a deep sense of connection to the world around them.
